Can you really ride a jet ski without a licence?
Yes. On the French side of St Martin, as everywhere in France, you can ride a jet ski without a boat licence on one condition: being supervised by a qualified guide. That is exactly how our tours work. You are at the controls of your own jet ski, and the guide leads the way from start to finish.
If you do hold a licence, nothing changes for you: tours run the same way, as a group, behind the guide.
From what age?
You can rent a jet ski with us from the age of 16. Each jet ski carries one or two riders for the same price: a parent and a teenager, a couple, two friends. Many of our guests had never been on a jet ski before coming to us.
What does a first ride look like?
It all starts at Marina Royale, in Marigot, with a briefing. The guide shows you the controls and explains the rules to follow on the water and the route of the day. We only leave once everyone feels comfortable.
Then you follow the guide, who sets the pace for the group and stays by your side for the whole ride. Our jet skis are 110 hp Yamahas: powerful enough to have fun, easy to handle.
Which tour should a beginner pick?
- The Lagoon Trip is made for a first ride: 45 minutes on the calm water of Simpson Bay Lagoon, sheltered from the open sea.
- The 747 Tour lasts one hour and takes you to watch the planes land at Princess Juliana airport, from the water.
- If you want to see more of the island, the Samana Adventure takes half a day, from Grand Case to Froussards beach, then on to Terres Basses.

Good to know before you book
- You book online with a deposit per jet ski. The balance is paid on site, at the marina.
- You pick the day, morning or afternoon. We then call you back to set the exact departure time.
- If a tour is cancelled for weather or technical reasons, we offer you other time slots.
- We are open every day, from 9 am to 6 pm.
